Hello, this is projektepi

I’m Tatiana, and I started projektepi as an outlet for my own healing and self discovery after cancer.

The name is a little wordplay: projek (because we love a good Malaysian-ized twist on English words) and tepi (which means “side” in Bahasa Malaysia).

Because if life is the main project, then I believe everything I do to heal, find balance, and rediscover joy are side projects that make life itself meaningful.

And they matter.

The more I talked about my experience with cancer, the more I realized others had similar stories. People wanted to know my story, not just about treatment, but what it felt like to live after. Those conversations showed me how much we need spaces like this.

I know what it’s like to feel the ground shift, to wake up with a body that feels unfamiliar, and to wonder who you are now, and where your life fits when everything has changed.

The thing is, cancer didn’t steal my story. And it doesn’t get to steal yours.

That’s the whole point of projektepi. It’s your side sanctuary for whatever you need: clarity, comfort, or just proof that you’re not alone.

Whether you’re living with cancer, recovering, or caring for someone you love, you’re still here, and your story is far from over.

Frequently asked questions

Cancer recovery coaching is support for the whole you, mind, body, and soul. It’s not therapy or treatment. It’s about helping you process what’s happening, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with clarity and strength, even when everything feels upside down.

No, and I don’t give medical advice. I’m a certified life coach and aromatherapist. I support you emotionally and holistically, but all medical decisions should stay between you and your healthcare team.

Anything that’s real for you. Fear, grief, guilt, identity loss, routines, body image, relationships, joy, purpose…you name it. Nothing is off-limits, and nothing is “too small” to talk about.

Yes. Caregivers carry so much, often in silence. If you’re holding space for someone else, you deserve space for yourself too.

Nope. Therapy digs into your past and diagnoses conditions. Coaching is future-facing. We explore what’s here now and what’s possible next.

I don’t prescribe or treat anything. As a certified aromatherapist, I may suggest gentle, supportive practices (like essential oils for sleep or stress), but always with the reminder to check in with your doctor first.

Yes. Whether you’re in remission, newly diagnosed, post-treatment, or processing years later, your experience is valid. This space is for anyone carrying the weight of cancer in some form.

Both. You can book a one-time session when you need it, or we can work together over a series of weeks to go deeper. It’s flexible, and it’s always on your terms.

Absolutely. Sessions are 100% confidential. This is your safe space to say the things you can’t say anywhere else (other than with your doctor, of course).

Of course. Whether you’re actively engaging or quietly absorbing, you’re part of this space. Take what you need, in your own time.
